The Riveria was the place to go in the 60's. I remember Terry Knight and the Pack played there a few times (Grand Funk later). I seem to remember there was big fight there once. A few guys came down from Akron wanting to strut their stuff. I wasnt much of a fighter, so I just watched and cheered the Canton boys. Oh I lied, I got in a few licks myself. We did send the boys packing.

Admin reply: The Riveria was a great place. I met Terry Knight in the mid sixties-what a neat guy. Terry Knight was killed in 2004 by his daughter's boyfriend. Thanks for stopping by the Angry site! ;)

I found a link to the Rock Hall of Fame on your site. You guys are from Ohio. Is is worth seeing? Nice site.

Admin reply: Thanks for the compliment. If you like Rock history and trivia, you'll love the "Rock Hall". It is at least 3 floors of history, artifacts and films, etc. You can easily spend at least two hours there. :!happy:

I drove down to Canton once in the early sixties to see Sam the Sham. They were one of my favorite bands.
